First Came the Passion
This painting tells the story of the Passion flower, a symbol of strength, calmness and purity. It is also associated with devotion to Christ. This highly stylized painting utilizes a multifaceted painting process to achieve texture, movement and rich color. A representational abstract, this painting won first place at Southeastern Oklahoma University's juried art show in 2018. It was published in County Line online magazine in May of 2022.
