First Came the Passion
This painting tells the story of the Passion flower, a symbol of strength, calmness and purity. It is also associated with devotion to Christ. This highly stylized painting utilizes a multifaceted painting process to achieve texture, movement and rich color. A representational abstract, this painting won first place at Southeastern Oklahoma University's juried art show in 2018. It was published in County Line online magazine in May of 2022. It has just become available for purchase.
