Wildflowers at the Pond

This looks like one of hundreds of stock ponds I have seen in Texas.  In the spring the banks are lined with flowers and grasses, and the water is still clear because the temperatures are cool.

 

This atmospheric painting is 12x16, painted on 300 lb watercolor paper.  It has been mounted on a birch cradled panel, varnished and ready to go.
